Eliathos Hillside Retreat

Pas de micro onde, pas de clef pour verrouillage salle de bain , pas de torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle.

Two highlights saved our trip. First, Audrey provided nothing less than exceptional, first-class support and made our visit special. Second, we loved the traditional Cretan village nearby. The hospitable locals, great restaurants, and excellent cafes made our evenings wonderful.

Eliathos Hillside Retreat offers beautiful grounds and breathtaking hillside views, but the overall experience fell short of our expectations. Our apartment highly disappointed us. The online photos misled us into expecting a nice porch, but the resort put us in a dark, basement room with zero romantic ambiance. My hats off to their photographer! The layout also needs improvement. Guests must dodge cars and maintenance vehicles because management placed the parking lot in the back rather than making the resort a pedestrian-only zone. The pool sits in the back but lacks any real appeal. The maintenance shed sits right next to it, meaning loud conversations, tool noise, and cigarette smoke ruined my attempts to swim. Furthermore, the resort lacks a dedicated seating area for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The breakfast nook feels like an afterthought built into a hallway, and the kitchen serves the same food every single day. They really need to change up the menu.

Skønt fredeligt sted med dejlig udsigt. Fin morgenmad, der kan nydes både inde og ude. Fin swimmingpool, hvor det var dejligt at slappe af om eftermiddagen. Gode vandremuligheder i nærheden. Gå afstand til byen med gode restauranter, nogle med fantastiske vine fra området på vinkortet

Eigentlich gar nix

Vynikajici snidane, vyhled, venkovni posezeni, bazen (sice v kvetnu dost studeny), cistota, uzasna vonava kosmetika v koupelnach.

Jediny nedostatek bylo kuchynske vybaveni - nuz zde byl jen kapesni skladaci, zadne prkenko, sklenicky na vino jen 2ks. Clovek by si zde nic neuvaril.

Le logement était en sous sol donc très sombre.Nous avons même eu froid.

This was a very quiet location with beautiful views. We were in a family maisonette, which was perfect for four of us – two couples. The property is small and quiet, which is exactly what we were hoping for. It was easy to find from the airport, however, have Google maps take you through town! Very easy drive into town for dinner each night – we were there for five nights did not attempt to walk into town because the road has quite the incline! Breakfast was acceptable however, if weather didn’t permit for outside, dining inside was very small and we actually had to come back one day because it was full. We did appreciate that upon arrival we had wine chilling in our refrigerator as requested (purchased) after a long day of travel!

The breakfast selection could be a little bit more extensive. Not sure how they solve the space issue when all the rooms are full, and there is no option for outside dining.
