Clean, modern, spacious

Although the plumbing and wiring was there, at the time there was no washing and ironing facilities

The apartment was super clean like new and I loved the location

Nothing

The property is exceptional , I don’t know if it’s recently been renovated but it is like brand new , beds were super comfy, great shower etc etc , I could go on … the location is perfect, close to all the amenities, restaurants etc , also dead quiet and a view over the sea , what’s not to like …

There is only 1 set of bathroom towels , could do with another as we were there for a week , it’s small pickings tho …

Loved the property- clean, light and bright- located on a beautiful old square opposite the church. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Owner was exceptional- on the first evening we found there was no corkscrew and she brought one round within a couple of hours. This meant we could open the delicious wine she had left for us!

As others have mentioned, there is quite noisy street cleaning daily from around 6am in the square, but if you shut the windows you can block it out effectively. A small free standing drying rack would have been useful.

When two electric rings were on at the same time as the extractor fan or the kettle, this would overload the circuit and trip the fusebox, cutting all power to the apartment. The fusebox would have to be reset. This occurred at least once a week. The towels could have been changed more often. They were only changed four times during our 42 day stay.

Apartment is excellent in terms of it perfectly located for all Arrecife has to offer, restaurants etc. excellent also in terms of what the apartment contains, it has everything you need. Although couldn't get the TV to show anything I could understand or log into any of my TV accounts (Netflix etc). More my fault though.

The downside of having local amenities is deliveries need to be made, from 6am onwards the roads around the local area are busy with diesel vans delivering goods. Extremely noisy. But the sound was reduced when all windows were closed fully. There was also carnival on with live music till 3am on Friday and 430am on Saturday. This was almost unbearable at times, but not the apartments fault. One last issue was I ran out of hot water on the Sunday and without any running water on the day I left. There wasn't any prior warning and I had to wash etc with my remaining bottled water. Again I don't believe it was the apartment or owners fault.
