Guest House Patrocinio

Let me start by saying the hosts are amazing, I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable to stay in a guesthouse! The place has everything you need for your stay, the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and the house is very clean. The location for me was perfect, it’s just outside the chaos of the downtown core but easy and fast enough to get to by public transportation and by vehicle. It’s walking distance to the trains, trams, local authentic food and a grocery store. I will only stay here whenever I visit Portugal and would recommend it to anyone.

The only thing that was a downside for me was the bed, it was a bit uncomfortable for me, I could feel the springs in certain positions, but it wasn’t uncomfortable enough that I lost sleep, and my partner loved the firmness of the bed.

Good price-value for the accomodation, quite close to train station and Lidl supermarket, cooperative host.

Cameras in the corridor, host speaking with guests after 22:00 in the corridor disturbing other sleeping guests, no soundproof walls and doors - rooms are sensitive to any noise from the corridor and bathroom.

Great location, close to the train and tram. Easy to move around. Beaches not far away. We will certainly stay there again.
