Bathroom needs attention

The location and neighborhood were great for my needs, just a quick overnight trip to catch my next flight the following morning

If you’re expecting luxury, this probably isn’t for you. It is simple, quaint, and clean.

Chryso the owner was lovely .she met us at the apartment and showed us around . The apartment was in the High road above the shops. The front door and lobby were very dirty . I know it’s shared with the other tenants , but a clean would help the first impression . The apartment was dangerous with large cracks in the glass of the patio doors, cracks in the glass of the mirrored wardrobes, broken chair, broken lock on door and a toilet seat that wasn’t fitted ( The screw had never been attached. She warned us the shower flooded and the flexible pipe to the shower was fraying . We opened the window in the bathroom and what a shock . There was a small area outside with dirty concrete and builders rubble and pigeons mess everywhere . In the bedroom the bed was against the wall and there was only 2 ft to get down the side of the bed, so there was no shelf or bedside cabinet. The kitchen needed a deep clean the fridge rubber was dirty and the work surfaces were greasy . The corners and cills of each room hadn’t been cleaned for a long while. There was washing up left on the drainer! In the morning I twisted my back while sitting on the toilet seat , which slid to the side . We booked for 4 nights but left that morning , Chryso refunded our money for three nights . She is a lovely lady , but seems to have given up in the condition of the apartment. Maybe visit for one nights sleep if you are leaving in the morning , but not for longer.

The description on the booking.com. The view is amazing. The host was very friendly. The bakery next door was great to get a proper coffee and pastries.

IT was not clean, it had cracked windows, cracked mirrors, pipes sticking up in two places, dust was in kitchen in living room, yes a coffee machine was present but no coffee. Plates, cups were dirty. Broken chair that could rip your trousers or worse. Bathroom had black mould marks. It was quite a way from the airport and it would have costed 50 euro for a return trip to and from airport. So we hired a car to make it possible. Only could upload 4 pictures but have a few more.
