Gianni & Sophia airport house

Nice appartement, very confortable and close to the airport (<10min by car). Nice small garden with lemon trees. It was a charming arrival in Greece.

Really close to the airport, worked for us great as we landed late and needed a close place to stay. Easy access and communication with the owner

Very near to the airport. Spacious. Enough for 3 small families (3 bedrooms with queen beds) with a huge living room. However only one shower and 2 toilets. No napkins/mats. No hairdryer. Toilet papers are limited (? Location) and ? No Heater. The compound has lemon trees and surrounding is quiet.

Property is very close to ATH (Athens) International Airport - approx 7-8 minutes by car. It was easy to find, and entrance is marked. Property has lots of space, including multiple bedrooms and dining/living area. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, oven, and bathrooms were great. Reverse-cycle aircon (cool or heat) was available in all rooms and though the property is not within a town, there are multiple grocery stores and a SENSATIONAL bakery a short walk away!

The dog on the external balcony on one of the upper floors was a bit of a surprise - perhaps you could mention this as a 'security' feature? We checked in late, and was greeted by this large dog, barking.

The owner did not send any check in information in advance. Have to call or send message to ask for code. The apartment is for 10 people, but there are not enough pans and pots for cooking, and the oven was not working, which made it even worse. The air conditioners could not warm up the whole apartment, and it even increased the air flow, so that it feels even colder. We had to turn off all the air conditioners and didn’t take off our clothes when we slept. There are no where to put bags and small personal stuff or hang clothes in the bedrooms. Very inconvenient to have all three families’ stuff on a sofa table in the living room. The ground is not clean enough. We all changed indoor shoes, the shoes became dirty the next day when we left. I also saw a blood spot on the bed sheet. I wondered whether the bed sheets were changed.

The property is big and the beds are comfortable. The little garden is agreeable.

As soon as we entered the property, there was a very strong smell which never left even though we left the window open for about 1 hour. There was no hand soap in any bathroom or in the kitchen. In the kitchen there was a tiny bit of dish soap already mixed with water. In the bathroom 1 bottle of shampoo with very little left and one unknown bottle with a blue liquid. What saddens me is that I wrote to the owner/responsible person sending her the pictures I am attaching here, but she didn’t answered, didn’t apologise and especially didn’t bring us any soap. Very disappointing service. Furthermore, the heating system is blocked at 15 degrees celcius. Luckily there are air conditionings, but in order to heat such a large apartment it takes a long time. This was not very comfortable especially for our 10 months old baby. Overall quite a bad experience.
