Central 2 BR apt - large balcony by Zodiak Stays

The location was amazing! Will definitely stay here again

There was no other seating apart from the couch

Location was fabulous

The lounge, ottoman & shower were stained & grotty. The lounge was extremely uncomfortable & barely accommodated 2 x people, the balcony was covered in green scum & the front door handle was broken - plus the 2nd bedroom window was smashed in 2023 & still not repaired in May 2025. The 2nd bedroom on-suite was ridiculously small - try brushing your teeth

The location was good as around the corner in Albert Street there were a few good takeaway eateries and a pub, a mini mart to the right, and Woolworths down the street. Not too far from the quay and Queen Street, but it was an uphill walk back. As the weather was perfect it was great having the large balcony, which was also the dining area. The agents were excellent to deal with always answering calls or emails. Very convenient having a wahing machine and dryer in the unit. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The building was secure needing a token to enter the building and elevators.

I didn't like having to collect the keys from a lock box. It was not far away but it was up hill. I left my suitcase with friends, but with luggage it would have been harder. To collect the keys it is easier to walk up Albert Street, then across Wyndham to Hobson, as it isn't as steep. The sofa seat cushions need fixing. The second bathroom was a tight squeeze, but serviceable.

One of the main reasons we chose it was for the balcony. It rained all day one day we were there and we would have loved to have sat on the balcony but it wasn’t covered so we couldn’t use it.

Only one two seater couch plus an ottoman.it needs two comfortable couches or a couch and single comfortable chair Not suitable for 2 bdrm apartment to have only one couch.heat pump wasn't working and neither was the TV.the concierge should have come back after we had had a nite to see everything ok.didnt happen.apart from those issues we loved it and would stay again .

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Location is amazing and so central. Charged the full cost of the hotel the minute I booked even though it was supposed to be taken 24hrs beforehand. Received a text message stating a $300 deposit was required it does not state this on booking.com. On arrival, i was provided the wrong lock box. I had to carry my bags and find another location for a different lock box that was 15 mins away. After leaving the hotel, I was charged a thousand dollars for a smashed window we did not smash. Management never contacted me to speak about the window just simply charged my credit card. Management did not engage in any way with me and did not return any of my calls. After three weeks of arguing and expensive international phone calls. I received an email saying the window smashed on its own, and my credit card would finally be refunded. STAFF not helpful in anway *** NOT WORTH THE HASSLE STAYING HERE AVOID AT ALL COSTS***
