Beautiful location, very peaceful. The house is very spacious and well heated and was very clean and comfortable. We would love to return and stay a bit longer next time

No private garden is the only downside, but in the winter it's no big deal

Having to cross over the road to get in is a little tricky with kids and 3 dogs - but manageable and well worth it!

Great location for this apartment, near enough for the amenities and just right for parking and a decent peaceful sleep. The train station and beach are minutes away. Three clean and comfortable rooms with a good tv selection for any rainy days stuck indoors (we touched for sunny/dry weather so didn't need them). The kitchen has all utensils you need, just bring some tea/coffee and milk for a cuppa when you arrive! We booked just a week before our stay dates and the price was very good compared to other Barmouth options. Dominic was also very knowledgeable about the area giving us great tips for walks around the bay and hills - as a trio of ramblers, we were well pleased. He was always on hand if needed and even gave us a lift to one of the trails, as the starting point would have been hard to find.

Being very very picky, something to make a cuppa on arrival would have been very welcome but there's a small supermarket just 2 minutes away to get all you need - so I should stop moaning while the going is good!
