Kitty’s Place, Apartment, Eden Valley, Cumbria

The downstairs inn was open on the night we stayed and we had a wonderful meal in a typical small country pub…the rental we stayed in was Kitty’s Place’ and it was quirky and in the morning, we were greeted with a herd of cows outside our bedroom windows. Lovely start to the day!

It's a perfect place to stay , whilst visiting Cumbria.

We arrived in the dark , and unfortunately the light above the door wasn't working, A security light is needed.

Location

Three of us stayed in this two bed apartment, with a kitchen and bathroom. We were surprised by having to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the kitchen and bathroom. I personally did not like having the fridge in the bathroom which housed the toilet, shower and bath.

Location off the A! was ideal for an overnight stay on our way back from a holiday in Scotland - we stayed on the way up as well. Facilities were excellent for what we were looking for but might be considered 'limited' for a longer stay. Having the pub below the apartment was good but you need to check The Pheasant's website because the restaurant is not open every day. It was open when we stayed and our meals were excellent.

Kitty's Place was lovely and clean - little extras like milk, orange juice and biscuits. Attached to a nice pub that severed excellent food. The hosts contacted me prior to the stay with check-in information and said to contact them if I needed anything very friendly

It was a good size, lovely location, food in adjoining pub was very good

Everything was great for our one night stay on our trip North to Scotland....
