Lucid Apartment South Brisbane

I liked that’s it was central to the city and close to the purpose of my trip. I liked that it had a washing machine and dryer and the view was amazing

The way that the keys are picked up is impractical as you have to park SOMEWHERE to get the key and they are just padlocks on a fence. The parking structure is absolutely ridiculous. I spent 20 mins driving up, down and around trying to find the assigned parking spot as they are not in numerical order. The apartment appeared to be clean but after further inspection we discovered food items and discarded items under the beds, mould on the bathroom door and a number of marks, scratches, scuffs and paint patch jobs. Half the power points didn’t work , some of the dishes were dirty and the ensuite bathroom shower handle came off when I tried to take a shower.

Size, position, price, balcony, windows, city lights, infinity pool.

Have had better beds. Bed in 2nd bdrm wasn't great. Shower head was pretty bad. The good bits of this place made up for it and will stay here again, for sure!

The pool

1. I was told in an email that someone would bring the keys. No not on weekends. Couldn’t find the building, couldn’t find the lock box. Instructions are contradictory. 2. The apartments master bedroom window is stuck Not one power point in either bedrooms worked. No milk. 3. No signage in garage. Which way to go? Tricky to find the number of car space allocated as it doesn’t match the numbers in the car space.

Location was excellent

The explanations and photos for Check in instructions are not clear or accurate. Had to phone for assistance and ask locals. We were even given wrong code. The bed linen wasn’t clean, there was no power in the bathrooms or bedrooms. Had to phone again for assistance. No instructions or ways to alter the air conditioning. No tea towels or long life milk for a drink. These complaints were also raised in reviews back as far as July/ August 2023 and nothing had been rectified or improved in this property

Very central location

I hope you like trains cause you will hear them All day and night screeching into the station. Very old the furnishings were very old. The couch is like an old bed they’ve tried to put on the end so their loose and the cover doesn’t cover it properly and stained. The curtains were very stained and old. my bedroom was at the front and I had to use pillows to keep the curtains shut. The aircon wouldn’t go above 2 on the strength so I couldn’t stay in my bedroom after about 6;30am it was too hot, but that’s ok cause the trains woke you up ages ago anyway. When your in the centre apartments your bedrooms also get to look at each other if your blinds aren’t shut as my neighbours found out as they were getting changed. The check in process is like a maths test you study for when I called cause we were unable to park to then go across the road so we could finish our treasure map to get our key from a locked box on a fence the man seemed annoyed that I hadn’t memorised where to go on page 6 (there’s more than 6 pages of instructions) Just put a sign up and provide a car park (not the one with a pole that’s laid down and scrapped under my car). Exiting was just as bad a I had a few instructions sent indicating put it in the corresponding mailbox to my key I couldn’t find but another instruction told me a different number I couldn’t find. Just please get a key return box near the carpark exit why is it all so hard. Made a stressful start to our time away.
