The Sky House by the bay

Great location. A helpful, friendly host.

The staircase is very steep and narrow - caution required if traveling with heavy luggage. The outdoor furniture is great. However, the lighting is insufficient for use after nightfall (namely the dining table).

Owner lives below the shipping container so I was reluctant to make noise or move around too much. The TV had bad reception and there wasn't a means to communicate this unless interrupting owner downstairs

Great location and views and being a tiny home, everything was at arms length.

The spiral staircase is quite scary when carrying things downstairs. I was ok but can imagine others may struggle.

Location was great and view was fantastic.

Bed definitely wasn’t comfortable and I think that important after days of exploring. Host was contactable however didn’t speak English and was telling us to leave prior to checkout due to having someone checking in that afternoon..

The view from the Skyhouse was really lovely, relaxing and made a feature of the unit. The location close to the boardwalk and to Wynnum shops and restaurants was very useful. Also it facilitated walking along the waterfront.

We were surprised by the spiral staircase up to the unit. It was safe and just required care. The unit is very small but the outdoor area being large with outdoor furniture helped with a more spacious feel.

Excellent deck. Good shower. Very nice place, handy for the sea front and Manly pool.

Didn't worry me but external stairs are steep, and cooking and eating might be a bit cramped for 2.

The accommodation was in a great location. Great views. The place was clean besides the fan which has a fair amount of dust on it.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Spirals stairs very narrow and not well lit of a nighttime. Next to bed was some info regarding WiFi etc and it advised there was an information booklet above sink to read, which we read. It tells you not to leave lights on or air con on while you're out or the power will be turn't off at the main. I find this excessive as it was very difficult and unsafe leaving and coming home from dinner in the dark when the spiral stairs are steep and narrow, And also they ask you to take out your own rubbish (which we dont mind) but after all we pay good money to stay a night, we shouldnt have to worry about if the lights are on or off and to take out the rubbish
