Mirage Monte Apartment

The apartment is very close to city attractions. There is a shop and public transport nearby. Despite being close to the city center, the noise level was negligible.

The disadvantage is that it is not possible to reserve a parking space. It might be necessary to invest a little in updating the equipment in the apartment.

Location

The place is in an old building not well maintained and has bunch of old households just put together. You are required to make a deposit of 150 Euro up front in case of any damage, but installation and appliances are old, they could break at any moment (door handles are loose, electrical outlets also). The water flows from the shower and bath reaching even the hallway, and we were super careful and used minimal water. Sounds travel easily from the building hall, not a quiet stay. The kitchen has sticky stains in some places. I have rented plenty of properties and this is the only time a deposit up front is demanded (I didn’t read this before booking it) but it is the least pleasant stay I have ever had. Last week I was in Rome and paid less for a much more beautiful, quiet and perfectly maintained apartment. Definitely this place is out of the advertising price range.

Spacious living area, 2 toilets/shower. Full sized kitchen. Central heating. Close to castle and Matthias Church, 20minute walk to Danube.

Road noise even with shutters and double glazing, no extra toilet paper, no shower toiletries, one bath mat (2 showers) and showers both soaked the floor of the bathrooms. Lack of dishwasher tablets even though dishwasher is provided, no coffee pods again coffee machine provided.

Everything was great, accommodation was excellent and personal answered all the questions and did everything to help us with parking. Apartment is near Chain bridge and Buda castle and getting to all the attractions is easy.
