Central King Apartment

It was super close to a lot of the main bars and restaurants, a short walk to many of the tourist places but if you didn't want to walk it was close to bus routes etc. (about 25 mins walk from the river), The room was very clean. Host had great communication. Was really good value for money and a beautiful room.

Centrally located in a nice and lively part of the city. Apartment is very secure, since you need to get through through three doors from the street. Cosy and well-appointed place, and I didn't really want for anything while I was there.

What I see in pictures, it was different than it. I booked room with living room, but they provided me studio flat.

Accommodation was in a great location, very close to the city center. Clean and cozy. Easy check-in.

Amazing location, good air con, clean space, comfy bed and loved the mezzanine. Gabor was very helpful. Would recommend!

The location is excellent, smack bang in the city centre. This enables you to walk to most of the sights in Budapest and this makes sight-seeing a lot easier. There are many cafes and small supermarkets within a couple of hundred metres of the apartment. The apartment managers, though they were never seen or spoken to on the phone, were always responsive. The apartment is functionally refurbished -- it's clean, mostly tiled, kitchen is well-equipped.

The one-room apartment is very small. The main room has a double bed in it and no space for anything else. The kitchen is also small, though quite functional. Worst thing is that there is virtually no natural light. Windows to the main room are completely covered in film but it wouldn't make much difference if they weren't. All natural light is blocked out by high walls a few metres from the apartment windows. The building itself is a huge, crumbling relic. It's okay if you're into Gothic architecture but not if you prefer something more modern. The entrance to the main building and the stairs to the apartment wouldn't look out of place in Dracula's mansion ... overall, the apartment has a feel of a prison cell about it. It can only be used for sleeping, it's impossible to relax inside.
