Budapest Full Panorama Residence

The only good notable feature of this apartment is its location — it’s right next to the Danube River and offers a nice view. The neighborhood is more orderly and peaceful compared to other parts of Budapest. Although the building is old, the high ceilings and the presence of an elevator add some practical comfort. They shared a video for you to understand how to check-in.

You cannot check in before 3:00 PM, and there’s absolutely no option to store your luggage anywhere. Check-out is at 10:00 AM sharp, and they try to intimidate you the day before by saying you’ll be charged €100 for every extra hour. Despite the 5-hour window between check-out and check-in, the cleaning was clearly insufficient. There was hair in the bed. Thankfully, there’s a vacuum cleaner in the apartment — so during your holiday in Budapest, you’ll have the chance to vacuum the cobwebs off the ceiling yourself (and not just the webs — the spiders, too). Opening the windows in the evening is not an option unless you enjoy a full-blown mosquito invasion. There are no screens. It’s also obvious that previous guests had the same issue — you can still see the marks of dead mosquitoes on the ceiling above the bed. There’s also an odd opening in the wall next to the balcony — possibly an old chimney — which isn’t sealed off completely and allows more insects to enter. The only “plant” in the balcony flowerpot is a used cigarette butt. Since the building is old, when a tram passes by, the floor literally shakes beneath you — don’t be alarmed if you feel yourself bounce a little. The bed is in the loft, accessed via a ladder in the living room. There’s no handrail or support of any kind. If you get up half-asleep, there’s a real risk of falling. If you and your partner are on the heavier side, be even more cautious — the bed’s support beams are placed poorly and statically unsafe. One or two are tucked in the corners, but at least one more beam is clearly needed. There’s no washing machine, no iron, no slippers — not even a bottle of water. You’ll need to locate the nearby markets immediately. While tap water in Budapest is said to be safe, keep in mind the risk of asbestos in old pipelines. For a 4-night stay with 2 people, they provided only 2 rolls of toilet paper. No paper towels.

Great location with the best coffee of the city just 10 meters around the corner. Great view on the river and Gellért fürdö. Good restaurant just in front on river side. Good soundproof from outside noises. Great bed, when you are in, but you need to climb up steps. So not for the old or instable ones. Shower head mount should be placed to other wall since it is just right above the mixer tap, wich you shut with your back when straight under the water. But is just small detail. Has all you need. Close to market hall and restaurants.

Quaint property, sits perfectly on edge of inner city with easy access to all sides of Budapest. Overlooks the Danube. Close to bus and tram stops, easy for taxi drivers and 5 minutes from David’s luggage storage. Apartment itself is well equipped, in a good condition and kept clean, exactly like the photos. View is pleasing and there is a small friendly coffee shop and Spar around the corner and bars directly across the road. Communication with host is good and fast. Would definitely use this property again - thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The location is PERFECT!! Is located across the street from an interactive museum which is free and so close to the market hall. We absolutely loved the views and location!

Great option for visiting Budapest. Incredible view from the apartment! Convenient location, close to city transport stops and it’s possible to reach main attractions on foot as well. Nicely and practically organized rooms. Tidy and comfortable space. On our requests to host we had almost immediate responses. Thank you for hospitality!
