Accessing was a bit of a nightmare. Instructions could have done with a bit more information of how to access the building! Confusion with the address also! The property itself once we know how to get in was fine. Not huge by any means, but was ok for the night stay. Couldn’t turn the heating off though, it was hot in there.

- great location - small kitchenette where I was able to prepare some easy meals (microwave, kettle, induction stove, pans&pots, fridge) - big shower - the host was always in touch with me making sure I have a great stay

- you can easily hear your neighbours from the other room - the fridge can freeze some of your food depending on where you put it in the fridge

Worst such place I've ever stayed in. Especially for Budapest this was terrible. Communication via the booking messaging system was very bad. Even though they asked for an ID to their own email address. They insisted on not replying via that. Difficult to get into. The keys to the apartment itself were in a lock box. But there were way too many and similar keys you had to use. 1 key for the inner courtyard door, 1 for the metal grid on the apartment, 1 for the apartment door, and 1 for the room. Because of the way the two "rooms" NASA and Texas have the same apartment entrance I would highly advise NOT staying here as a solo traveller. You have to lock yourself in with whoever is in the other apartment. An ugly murder case waiting to happen. Ironically there was a sign on the wall boasting how they got a 9.6 rating on booking in 2015. The place looked like that was the last time this place was renovated or even basic maintenance was done. Everything was half broken. Taps were lose, bed was uncomfortable, pillows lumpy and overused. Bedding old felt dirty. The towels that were prepared on the bed smelled like they were in a closet for the past year. Clusters of dust and spiderwebs in the corners of the room and the window. The floor was very dirty. I used the dirty mop in the room to clean a bit. No broom or vacuum cleaner of course. Glad I had to wait until 15:00 so that they can "clean" the room before I checked in. The room itself is also very dark. Not even in the middle of the day was it properly bright. This was made worse by the shitty cheap blinds they had on the window. Not the property's fault, but still annoying: while I was there one of the neighbours was doing some renovations. And the stored the rubble in large black bags in the inner courtyard. So my view consisted of looking at bags of trash.

The apartment was in a very well located area, near to the city center. It was clean and was enough for us, as we only went to the apartment at the end of the day to rest after walking all day trough Budapest. It was a silent place so it was good, nothing to complain about.
