Comfortable, convenient, homely, host was delightful

My grown son and I stayed for three nights, from Monday to Thursday. The location can't be beat - we were right on a square with a ferris wheel and so close to public transport. The studio apartment is on the 4th floor (2nd when taking elevator) and quiet. The windows look into an interior courtyard. There was a fully equipped kitchen, but no basic spices. If you plan to cook there, please keep that in mind. The beds were acceptable - one was a pull out sofa with a mattress put on it and the other was a platform bed with a thinner mattress. Provided is one very large but kind of flat pillow per bed - I had to fold it/roll it for sleeping. But, not liking this pillow is a personal preference - others may love it. There is an elevator for use. It will fit three medium people with no luggage or one person with luggage. It does take a while to come down from the top floor - we thought it was not working, but I guess we were just a little impatient. It did stop partially at the apartment floor once, but all I had to do is repress the button and it realigned so the doors would open. I figured it was just part of the adventure. As a side note - locking the front door is a little goofy. If you stay here double or triple check it to make sure it is actualyl locked.

I didn't like the tub/shower. There was a hand held shower head coming from the top of the tub with nowhere to "hang " it for hands free showering. The cord was just long enough for me to step away from the water heaterand use it above my head - I am 5'6". My son, who is closer to 6ft tall had to sit to shower. The water heater is mounted on the wall of the shower above the faucet and shower head, takes up about 1/4" of the shower area. Also, the tub walls are very high from the bathroom floor so those with mobility issues may find this to be problematic. There are hand grips inside the tub that make things a little safer I guess. I can personally say that after walking 15km+ it was tough getting in and out of the tub (I really don't like sitting on the cold tub edge to swing in and out).

Wonderful apartments with a very convenient location. Easy to find and close to all major attractions in Budapest, including landmarks, ruin bars, the metro, and shops. Within walking distance of the 24-hour shuttle stop from the airport. The apartment itself has everything you might need and even more. It’s clean, warm (I stayed in winter), and quiet (the windows face the courtyard). Excellent Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with all amenities. The apartment owners are incredibly responsive and ready to help with any issue at a moment’s notice. I am deeply grateful to Ildiko for her assistance and hospitality. Thanks to this great accommodation, my trip to Budapest was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Very centrally located cozy apartment. The best parts were the host, who was very polite and professional, and the quietness of the house. Excellent for good sleep at nights, despite being at the heart of Budapest. Excellent communication with the owner and very well set up apartment with central heating, kitchenette and very comfy bed. I will definitely look forward to staying there again!

Everything was to my likes, no complaints there!

Loved the location! Very close to St. Stephen’s Basilica, a major metro station and the bus to the airport. Apartment was plenty roomy for two and had a washing machine and lots of space to hang clothes to dry. Host was very helpful.
