Little Italy Bronx Apartment

During our recent stay in Budapest, we unfortunately encountered several issues that made our stay difficult. The first significant drawback was the malfunctioning locks on the entrance doors. This deficiency caused us great concern for our safety and compromised our peace of mind throughout the stay. We were thankful that at least there were bars installed on the doors, providing some level of security. Another problem we faced was the kitchen equipment not matching the description on the booking website. We were disappointed with the lack of adequate equipment and the poor condition of some items. It prevented us from preparing our own meals and enjoying our time in the outdoor environment comfortably. Not only that, but we were also unpleasantly surprised by the dirtiness of the dishes we found in the kitchen. It was very off-putting and significantly hindered our ability to cook independently, despite it being our initial intention. Unfortunately, an even bigger issue was the discovery of mold in the bathroom. This was highly concerning and unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. The strong smell and sight of mold were distressing and had a notably negative impact on our stay. Considering these negative experiences, I regret to say that I cannot recommend this accommodation to other travelers visiting Budapest.

Was clean and good location from city centre

Much smaller than seemed from the photos- kitchen was very basic with not many facilities or much crockery provided Washing machine did not work and although the staff said they would send someone to fix it this didn’t happen- leaving us with half washed clothes to re-pack, I had to wash some of my essentials in the sink

The place is very central in the heart of the city, with restaurants and cafes next to it. Accommodation is comfortable with enough beds for 6 people. Host was helpful and responsive. I can definately recommend the property to others.

1.The floors in the property make loud creaking sounds. No one can sleep if someone walks in the middle of the night to the washroom for example. 2.Pots and pans were dirty. Some pots with Teflon coating were damaged with holes in the Teflon. Meaning you can't cook in them now as they are carcegenic. 3. Curtains are very light, and so anyone who is a light sleeper can't sleep once the day breaks as they don't stop the light.

Absoluting Nothing.

The apartment was very dirty we only slept one night. We requested to change apartments, but were denied, with the excuse that no one else was available.We had to search for an hotel to continue our vacation. We have requested the refund of the amount of the nights not used in booking. com and also to the host, but with a rebound of responsibility this was denied to us too, from both sides. I will not use any more Booking.Com, his customer care service is very poor. Absolutely don't book this apartment they are filthy thieves.

good location

The apartment is in a nice location, not too far away from public transport. The kitchen is basic, and the bedrooms were fine with comfortable beds. The host sent more than enough helpful information about the apartment itself and also other things around the area.

No coffee machine in the apartment although it is in the description. Shower door and shower-head-holder is broken.

the items that were broken-lights, shower nozzle. No toaster, washing machine did not work. No iron even though there was an ironing board.

overall 9/10, it's worth staying in this place! :)

not enough kitchen tools, no tablecloth, very small kitchen sink, very small sponges. it should be specified how to find a cheap parking spot, every parking close to apartment is very expensive, especially if you stay more than one day.
