I absolutely fell in love with this city. Budapest has such a distinct charm and personality — a beautiful blend of its imperial past, colonial influences, and echoes of its more difficult chapters, all layered with modern energy. It’s a place where history lives in every corner, yet the city feels vibrant and alive. We stayed at Gabi’s apartment, and it was perfect for us. The location is fantastic — just a 5-minute walk to the Opera Metro Station and only a few stops away from the main train stations, Keleti and Nyugati. And if you enjoy walking like we do, you’ll love the easy stroll to major sights like St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Ferris Wheel, and so much more. The apartment itself is adorable. My son especially loved the cozy loft bedroom — he enjoyed it so much that we didn’t mind staying indoors on rainy days. Gabi, our host, took wonderful care of us. She truly thought of everything: flip-flops for the thermal baths, shower caps, a shopping bag, and all the little touches that make travel feel easy and comfortable. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for couples and small families.

The host responded quickly and was very friendly. They even personally showed us to the hotel and helped us with our luggage. We were very grateful. The room was very clean, the location was great, and there was a tram nearby. We really liked it.

We really liked the location of the apartment – peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, which made our stay very enjoyable. Mrs. Gabi provided everything we needed, along with helpful information and materials about local attractions, transportation, and all other important details. We recommend it!

Excellent location for city centre. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants in the immediate area. Most attractions within walking distance. Informative host. Gave us an information pack prior to arrival.

Location was amazing!!! Gabi met us at the flat and went over everything with us. Extremely helpful. The flat was very comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. Access to restaurants, supermarkets, and entertainment were within minutes of our location. We were able to walk everywhere. Make sure to check out Kezmuves Pekseg a few doors down. Probably the best croissant we have ever had!
