Happy Turtle Apartments

Everything was excellent. Host was very kind and helpful. Apartment was great, it was very clean, warm and nice. Apartment is placed near metro and bus(5 minute walk), that leads you to main attractions. I would recommend to everyone.

location is close to Keleti Train station which also has Metro line 2 and 4 and buses. But train to Prague is not here but At Nyugati station.

The apartment is in the a very old building. the room is clean but out side the room in the building is very dirty and totally run down, especially the stairs. I didn’t know there was no elevator (if you can’t drag you luggage up the stairs in the very old building, don’t stay here) and the bed was on the split level which has the ceiling height prob less than 5’. I am 5’6” and I hit my head every time I got up there and got up from bed. This shouldn’t even meet the Building code as a living space. Also warm shower ran only briefly then turned cold. The Host was kind of short and rushing. Not the language issue, you can tell by the manner. She didn’t tell me about how to get out the main gate. it took me scrambling in the dark for a while before accidentally pressing the switch which look like a light switch and who knows this is the unlocked button for the gate. The host also took over 48 hours to reply to me via booking.com.
