Castello House

D'abord, la situation, absolument op-ti-male : dans Castello (la vieille ville), à deux pas du Bastion de St Rémi et de la Terrasse Umberto I. Ensuite le logement lui même, atypique, littéralement incrusté dans les remparts (!), a beaucoup de charme et de cachet (voir photos sur le site). Vous ne risquez pas d'oublier ce logement, qui constitue une excellente pause romantique pour deux ou trois nuits à Cagliari ! Côté pratique, le parking souterrain de la viale Regina Elena (en dessous de Castello) coûte 10 euros / jour et est facile d'accès depuis le logement. Un frigo avec quelques boissons fraîches gratuites, et des jetons permettant de prendre un petit déjeuner (léger) le 1er jour, dans un bar voisin.

Lits manquant un peu de fermeté, et climatisation assez bruyante (mais peut-être n'avons nous pas su la régler correctement). Hormis le 1er jour, il y a de quoi prendre un petit déjeuner dans l'appartement (dans le petit coin cuisine) mais c'est quand même un peu succinct (biscottes, viennoiserie sous sachet plastique)

Bellissimo appartamento accanto al Bastione Saint Remy. Vista mozzafiato, posizione molto comodo.

Het is een mooie locatie in het centrum, je zit eigenlijk voor je gevoel in een soort kelder met wat ramen die hoog zitten, maar zeker als het warm is buiten is dat aangenaam. Het ziet er mooi uit, mooie details, alles is aanwezig. Er stond fris, melk, water en fruitsap in de koelkast klaar. en koffie cups.

Het ontbijt viel wat tegen, we krijgen een tegoedbon voor 1 keer een ontbijt in een café, voor de andere ochtenden lagen er crackers en kuipjes jam, maar geen kaas of vleeswaren. Er was ook melk.

Posizione centrale, appartamento accogliente e dotato di tutti i comfort. Gentilezza del personale e del proprietario, sempre disponibile a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. Assolutamente consigliato.

Sûrement le meilleur appartement que nous avons eu l’occasion d’avoir via booking ! Il ne manquait rien ! Le logement est idéalement placé dans la vielle ville et proximité de tout. Valentina est à disposition pour toute question et vous réserve quelques surprises à votre arrivée 😉

Absolument rien, tout était parfait !

An ideal location, basically adjacent to Bastione Di Saint Remy where everyone seems to congregate and to watch the sunset. Also a short walk from the local parking station as there is no street parking allowed. The apartment is built into the wall of the city about 5 metres below street level. It has a quiet sophisication and is beautifully decorated throughout. I think the attention to detail in this apartment is quite exceptional. Our disappointent was only staying for 2 nights, its the sort of place where you just relax, sit back and go "WOW"". The apartment is well equipped with a small but fuctional kitchenette and an alcove where snacks and coffee can be prepared. There is a Lavazza coffee machine and frother, which personally I have been missing. The fridge had complimentary water and beer which was very much appreciated. There are two airconditioners available which were useful in the 30C+ temperatures we experienced. We were very impressed with the complimentary continental breakfast provided by La Piccolino cafferteria a short 5 minute walk away. I had planned to return in the afternoon for the cheesecake, which looked very tasty, but not to be. We just kept exploring the many local streets. Our host Valentina was lovely, spoke perfect english and gave us lots of ideas. We were very sad to leave and wished we had stayed for another couple of days.
