BETTY'S AIR+PORT SEA APARTMENT

The property was nice and spacious. Minas was very helpful and always answered my texts right away. He arranged for our transfers to and from the airport. He also got a taxi for us to this wonderful restaurant on the beach where we ate several meals.

It was initially hard to open the door.

Breakfast was great and much appreciated. Location can't be beat!

Nothing.

The living room smelled really bad. The sheets and pillows were bad. Pillows were of super cheap quality. There was very loud music till 1AM coming from somewhere. The owner was generally responsive. However he didn't do anything about the smell when we complained- no response. The owner however was nice to arrange transport to a nearby restaurant for Dinner and also arranged for a cab to the airport for which we paid. The distance from the airport is also Misleading because we have to first drive in the opposite direction , turn around and come back which added up to a 35 euro fair. The whole Purpose for us to book this was the proximity to the airport which turned out to be very misleading There is also no microwave at the apartment.

We spent a single night at Betty's with a family of six. We really appreciated the shuttle pick-up at the airport and again the next morning, at 5:15 am! The breakfast was most helpful. The instructions on how to get into the apartment were very clear, and everything was shiny clean. The recommended restaurant and free shuttle made our last evening in Athens very memorable.

The apartment is large, with a kitchen (refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, dishes), three bedrooms, comfortable mattresses and pillows, and air conditioning in each room.

It was very cold in the apartment; only after two hours of running the air conditioning at 30 degrees it became more or less tolerable. Although the apartment is close to the airport (5 km), the transfer cost 35 and 30 euros roundtrip (and that wasn't the night rate)! The area itself is miserable, with potholed roads and no lighting. The included breakfast is a carton of milk, a carton of juice, and factory-made croissants. I wouldn't recommend it for either short or long stays.
