T8 APARTMENT ON THE BEACH

Lovely simple apartment, located on first floor of a three storey block, situated between the the sea with a quiet pebbly beach, and a main road. Short walk into the town of Benitses (5 mins) where there are lots of restaurants, bars and shops. We were welcomed on arrival by our host who handed over the keys and left us with a lovely welcome pack of groceries. The apartment has 3 bedrooms (one double and two twins) a simple kitchen and a living room. One of the twins faces onto the road, as does the kitchen. The rest all have fabulous views out to sea, looking towards mainland Greece and Albania. It is located on the approach to the airport but sufficiently far away for the noise to be audible but infrequent and certainly not a nuisance. We enjoyed several delightful meals on the lovely balcony. We swam in the sea every morning with almost no one around, although we were end of season so may be busier earlier in the year. There are busses from right outside to Corfu Town (No 6 bus, reliable and €3.20 per person) well worth a visit. there are some lovely walks up behind the village (to the Chapel of Agia Paraskevi, the Roman Baths which are little more than a pile of ruins in a garden close to the town but worth a visit, and a chapel by a water spring) - nothing spectacular but nice, gentle explore off the beaten track with good waymarking. We took a boat out with driver for 3 hours which took us north towards Corfu town and south to the lower end of the island. Our hosts were quick to respond to a minor plumbing problem.

Our return taxi had trouble finding us as their information placed the apartments closer to the town and we had an anxious wait until we tracked it down. A tiny issue but a lamp in the living room would have been useful as the ceiling light was very bright. Walking along the main road to the town was a tad hazardous - little in the way of consistent pavement space and fast traffic.

We cannot thank the owner enough, she was really helpful in every way, also on request booked taxi from airport for us. Location is really good as you are directly on the beach. Local restaurants with tasty food and also supermarkets just 2-3minuts walk. Accommodation: huge space living room with dining, rooms perfect size with comfy mattresses, 2 bathrooms and of course AC- which was helpful during warm nights in August. Kitchen was fully equipped. We as family of 6 enjoyed our stay there and if we ever return to Corfu will definitely take the same accommodation.

There was nothing. The property is all you need and in excellent condition.

Excellent location, private beach and restaurants nearby. For families, travelling groups is a great option. Very welcoming staff. I recommend them. Will choose for my next trip as well.

We where very happy to stay at T8. Private modern home, great location, just on the beautiful beach. Fast WI Fi. Great owners Eftihia and Filipos. They presented us fruits, wine, water and greek souvenirs. And kindly allowed to stay at the appartment after check-out time till the evening before our return flight. Impotant thing - 2 bathrooms. Fully equiped kitchen. Wide balconies in every room. Close to the shops and restaurants. Appartment is very well decorated, good modern furniture. You can use sun umbrellas. We will come to T8 next year!

Lovely spacious apartment with a great view and all amenities needed. We were 4 people and were all very comfortable. Eftihia was a very attentive and welcoming host. The location is good and parking is available very near the place.

A bit noisy from the street and airplanes if you are a light sleeper but nothing too burdensome.

This place was amazing, beautiful views, right on the beach. My teens loved it. Plus the host was wonderful.
