The proximity to the Festival House and to the hilltop park. Parking on site. The well equipped kitchen - although, strangely, it lacked a microwave...

This flat was rated 9.2 in 2020. It is hard to see how that could be achieved now. When we arrived the cleaning had not been done properly. We were given a lengthy reason why - a family wedding - but no real apology. (These things happen, but, as people in the apartment management business ourselves, we would have been around quickly with a bottle of wine.) This apartment is in need of some tender loving care so, rather than say what we didn't like, we will say what could be improved: Bathroom - repairs to the broken cupboard handle; provision of a plug for the basin; provision of towel rails Bedroom - repair of the broken blind. For the bed, not sure that much can be done, but access is difficult on one side as it is against the wall! No drawers anywhere. (For overnighters not a problem, but we stayed a week.) Living room - installation of a blind to keep out the bright afternoon sun and also provide privacy at night (It looks as if there was one there originally) Kitchen - repair of the broken faucet; provision of a proper dish drainer rather than a cutlery container for that purpose General: Too much personal bric a brac everywhere, including personal photos. "Decor" is all sorts of different patterns - not as seen in theBooking.com photos. As clients we like to feel that we are being treated as welcome guests. This was not the case here. And compounded by the fact that English is not spoken except by telephone with the son.
