The location is absolutely perfect. You will be hard pressed to find a better 'home base' to explore most of what Belgrade has to offer. Literally everything you may or may not need is right around the corner - bakeries, restaurants, cafes, shops, sport facilities, zoo, green areas (rarity in Belgrade), hospitals and doctors and even children playgrounds and free (even if legally questionable) nearby parking.

The lack of elevator really made our stay extremely challenging - if you are traveling with kids and need to drag trolley around, better look elsewhere. The lack of (functioning) washing machine was not improving the situation. The apartment is rather dusty and worn and even though some reviews state that it looks like an art gallery, I have to say its a matter of taste. It was not up to ours.

The location is perfect if you plan on spending some time in Kalemegdan (the park where the Fortress is located). The neighborhood is really nice and it's got a lot of cafés & restaurants to choose from. We really appreciated the way the apartment is decorated and all the DIYs in it. The owner was helpful and made the key pick-up really easy. Would definitely recommend this accommodation!

The larger bed might be uncomfortable for some people.

The very best location, close to the fortress and the river banks. Small shops around. Comfortable beds. It was easy to talk to the host, she waited for us at the apartment. You can find public parking around the building. We found a spot right in front of the window (it is free after Saturday 2 pm until Monday morning.

There were 4 lamps in the room and only one worked. 😁

The host Ivana is so very kind and helpful. Not only did she accommodate our needs for the entire stay, she also helped us to find interesting places to visit in Belgrade, tailored to our specific preferences. Her kindness and service will make us come back to stay at her again.
