We were personally greeted in the apartment after 9 pm, which was nice

The cleanliness of the apartment was average. When we arrived, there was a bucket of dirty water on the balcony and food from previous tenants was in the freezer. There was a lot of dust under the bed. Our stay was also marred by the fact that the host did not give us registration, which is mandatory for visitors by law. We spent a day and a half going to the police, Googling information and eventually getting registered elsewhere for a fee. At the same time, all registration can be done online in 5 minutes (this is how we got it in the end). The owner offered only to go to other hotels and ask for registration there or a refund if we want to move out, but how do we check out and find a new place in the midst of a vacation? This is not a solution to the problem. We simply wanted to comply with local laws; it's not an extra service.

I asked the host if I can leave my baggage 2 hours before check in and they agreed to arrange early check-in to make it convenient for me. Also, the bed was comfortable and clean.

As far as I understood the owner lives far away, so Olgica looks after the apartment. And there were a lot of misunderstandings because of this. 1. Firstly, Olgica started arguing with me very confidently about the price I had to pay. Finally, she called her son to ask the price and found out that she was wrong. 2. The apartment was quite dark in the evenings. The light above the table didn’t work (see picture 1), also the socket was loose and because of this, it was unsafe. I texted the host about it on the Booking app and asked to fix it. After some time Olgica came and told me angrily: «DO YOU NEED THIS LIGHT? YOU DON’T NEED IT!». She also blamed me for being bothered by my message and that she was forced to run to me while sick, although I didn’t ask the host to fix these things as soon as possible. Tbh, I was shocked by this attitude and behaviour. Btw, the light and the socket were not fixed until my checkout. 3. The apartment was dirty and unkempt: there was someone’s hair in the bathroom drain mesh (see picture 2), some dishes were dirty, there was dust on the surfaces, and there were cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom. 4. Although I booked the apartment for 10 days, it wasn’t equipped at all. It didn’t have anything for the shower (only hand soap), also I simply had to buy a cloth to wipe the table.
