Apartment in the Heart of Belgrade

The "host" made our trip a living nightmare: insulting us, threatening us (with sentences such as "you don't know what you are doing you don't want to **** with me") and "offering" to kick us out immediately without being able to pick up our things or calling "help". He proceeded to call someone on the phone to scream at in Serbian (knowing we don't speak the language), presumably to scare us. Once he finally left (closing the door with his own key, which made us feel even more unsafe), we packed our things and left. After reporting this to booking, they said the only thing they can do is offer us a small compensation, as the "host" "offered" us to leave. He should be banned from booking.

The room is clean, quiet, and cozy. Almost everything you need is there.

It would be perfect if there was a knife for me to prepare the food.

Great location, next to the apartment is a copy fax shop if you need to print a ticket or so. It was possible to pay in euros that was great I didnt had to worry about the exchange right away when we arrived.

The sofa, it was very uncomfortable I wake up with a broken back and that's never good on a holiday. The apartment is extremely small but it's good enough for one day stay or for one person even for more nights.

it is close to airport shuttle, it has shower. ok-ish option for one night. air conditioning.

the sofa is not comfortable, one shaded window- the room is dark. musty smell in the room.
