Atico Deluxe San Basilio

Stayed here before in 2019 and it's still as fabulous as then. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, great air con, lovely balcony, brilliant location, discounted parking in Centro Historico (above ground with shaded areas and spaces not too tight) which is literally a 2 minute walk away and easy to access. Communication from host is excellent as is the information pack in the appartment. Would recommend Teteria Petra for lovely ambience, excellent food, crepes and tea. Also the Damasco restaurant. Overall another lovely stay in soulful Cordoba and we look forward to coming back again next year. 100% recommend.

The whole experience was absolutely excellent, from the communication at point of booking, to meeting and collecting keys through to the communication during our stay, and loads of useful information and a map from Isi. The apartment was first class, everything was of the highest standard and quality, very tasteful and interesting, beautifully arranged and contained everything and more that we needed. The outside space was truly wonderful too, an amazing bonus in a city apartment and the location was ideal for exploring all the places of interest. Absolutely Excellent apartment and overall experience. Thanks so much Isi, We can’t wait to return!

The apartment is lovely with a very well equipped kitchen and a beautiful outside space. We enjoyed exploring the area and found that everything we wanted to do and see was within walking distance.

The apartment is big, well equipped and nicely decorated with a lot of details. We had some rainy days during our stay and we really enjoyed staying in such a nice apartment. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher and lots of cutlery and dishes

Like every apartment and house in Spain walls are thin and you hear everything. Luckily the apartment is located in a quiet area and we were disturbed only in the morning. There is no bidet and not lift.

Atico Deluxe exceeded our expectations; we loved our stay. The apartment's furnishing and decoration is warm and absolutely reflects Isi's (host) personality. The apartment is full of Isi's travel memories. Also there are quite some handcrafted accessories. It are those personal touches that we're looking for. With regard to facilities, the apartment was perfectly equipped. Isi thought of every little detail. The bedrooms featured double beds and plenty of storage space. The beds were decent, though take note that they're (just like most double beds in Spain) are 140 cm wide. The kitchen was fully equipped as was the bathroom. The shower was luxurious featuring both a rain shower as well as frontal jets. Absolutely loved that. The one thing we loved most was the terrace, which spans the entire length of the apartment. It's the perfect spot for having breakfast or for an afternoon nap at the sofa under the pergola. The terrace has sun all day, though sunscreens will operate automatically. We also loved the host, Isi. She was very responsive and the communication went smooth. On check-in, Isi personally welcomed us at the apartment and gave us a tour. We really enjoyed this personal touch as you get to know the person behind the apartment. She gave us some tips regarding sights, restaurants and cafés in the city. During our stay, Isi went out of her way to answer our questions and fulfill our requests. Really appreciated that, so kudos for that. The apartment is located in San Basillo, a tiny car-free quarter just within the city walls of the old city. From the apartment it’s a (max) 10-minute walk to Mezquita. The neighborhood is quiet at night. San Basillo is perfectly reachable by car. Isi can arrange car-access to San Basillo, which makes (un)loading easier. There's a paid parking facilities across the street, though you’re most likely to find free parking spaces on the streets as well. Isi will advise you where to park.

As mentioned, we loved our stay. Therefore no major dealbreakers for us, but just some little details that we noticed: - We found the sound proofing of the apartment a little under par. At night it was noticeable when someone entered the apartment building and slammed the door shut. I think this is inherent to the age of the buildings, so can't really account Isi for this. - We've had loads of mosquito's in the apartment, which was quite annoying at night. Installing mosquito nets in the windows might be a solution for this issue. - There was no soap dish in the shower, so we had to place the soap and shampoo on the ground. Not a major thing, but a small detail that might be improved. - The apartment features a smart TV that comes with Netflix. It doesn't feature Google Cast though, so you won't be able to cast from your mobile devices.
