"Everything you need for a budget stay"

This was our first self catering trip to Borovets – previously we always stayed at hotels. This stay at Iglika 2 highlighted to me that the hotels do not offer value for money. There were four of us staying and it was ‘cosy’ but we were there for the skiing, not for lounging around the room. We wanted to do this trip on a budget, and for the money I was very happy with the facilities (unlike the hotels we have stayed in, the hot water in the shower never ran out). A cleaner popped in every few days with fresh towels and toilet rolls. There was a great supermarket downstairs and we were only five minutes from the slopes.

We had to live out of our suitcases for the duration — there wasn’t much in the way of storage space (but for the price I’m not complaining).

"It was a pleasant experience."

The location was very good. The host was very kind and responsive. The apartment is close to both ski slopes and shops.

The representative who was supposed to collect the garbage came only 2 times in 9 days of accommodation.
