Lovely Home in midtown Box Hill with two bedrooms

It was a good location. The apartment was clean, well presented and VERY cosy on cold mornings! Unfortunately it was not clear in the booking info that there was not a car park available, so we had to pay for on street parking. The keys were in a key safe around the block, which was strange and annoying. There was no clothes dryer, hand towel or shower soap. There was not much in the way of kitchen essentials (2 plates, 3 glasses, no condiments etc) and only one dishwasher tablet for a 7 day stay plus no dish drying rack. No shelves in the wardrobes to put clothes The balcony door did not always lock and the blind on that door was broken and only half closed, so it flapped and banged if the door was open to let in air.

Location is ideal and convenient to move around

Utensil not sufficient or 1 flock, 2 spoons. Vaccine cleaner not working.

The location was fantastic and the communication with the staff was great.

The couch was broken and very uncomfortable to sit on. The bed in the second room was very uncomfortable with the springs pressing into your back making it very hard to sleep. Also they took a $300 deposit for the room which is no problem but they are now saying it will take 7-14 working days to get it back.

the experience from the outset booking and correspondence with this apartment management was extremely poor

they are rouge operators. Requesting additional money for bond not through the approved Booking.com policies of PayPal but Pay ID. Not releasing the bond after the due date after promising day after day and then 3 weeks later not even acknowledging messages. I did escalate this to Booking.com customer service to deregister this apartment from any further listings as the difficulties we confronted was more on principle than our $300 bond that Booking.com ended up refunding to us but I would highly advise that you DO NOT provide any additional money or photo ID to this apartment or better off not using this apartment altogether.

Loving the interior & facilities in it. The location of the stay is wonderful, very near to the train station
