The apartment was nice and clean, but as it is on the 7th floor and the lift was not working, then reaching to the ap. was an exercise itself.

The location is good, and the apartment is equipped with everything necessary.

Upon check-in, it was cold, as the heating was not turned on. The floor was extremely dirty and there was dust everywhere, the apartment had not been properly cleaned. The bedsheet had stains and holes, and there were cobwebs on the windows, the sofa was not comfortable and was not suitable for sleeping. Last but not least, the listing includes photos of different apartments under a single advertisement, meaning you do not know which specific apartment you are booking, which is not fair or correct.

Siamo arrivati nell’appartamento e la camera da letto era sporca: sopra il letto c’erano cumuli di polvere e peli, il letto era in disordine e alcuni cuscini erano stati lasciati sul pavimento. Anche sotto il letto c’era molta polvere, come se non fosse mai stato pulito. Il gabinetto era sporco, con evidenti residui di feci umane sui bordi. Dopo pochi minuti dal nostro arrivo (self check-in), la signora delle pulizie ha bussato alla porta, cosa piuttosto strana. Le abbiamo mostrato le condizioni dell’appartamento e lei si è limitata a dire: “Ho pulito io, è impossibile che sia così”. Le abbiamo fatto notare che, nonostante fossimo arrivati quasi alle 16 (con check-in previsto alle 15), la stanza non era stata preparata e che la situazione era indecente, soprattutto considerando il prezzo di £260 per sole due notti. Abbiamo provato a contattare la proprietaria, che dopo diverse chiamate ci ha risposto dicendo semplicemente: “It’s impossible the bed is dirty on top”. Io continuavo a ripetere “on top”, mentre lei continuava a rispondere “under the bed”, come se insunuasse che me non fosse vero. Alla fine la signora delle pulizie è tornata per “pulire” il letto, passare l’aspirapolvere e pulire il gabinetto. Tutto questo ha creato un grande disagio, perché dopo un lungo viaggio volevamo solo riposarci, non discutere per avere un alloggio pulito. Mi sarei inoltre aspettato un gesto di attenzione da parte della proprietaria per il disagio subito, o almeno un messaggio di scuse, cosa che non è mai avvenuta.
