Cozy Apartment with Garden in the Castle District

The garden was great, the location is also very convenient and quiet.

- the apartment is in the basement (-2 floor), which wasn't communicated in the description. -the communication with the host was unpleasant. - the mattress of the bed was very hard (and uncomfortable for us). It was a Japanese style futon-like mattress, which was also not communicated in the description.

The location was incredible. It is right in the heart of the city.

It had everything we needed for our stay.

This apartment is on the ground level in the back of the building, and that is why it has a beautiful garden patio. But you would not expect such a great place as you walk down the two flights of stairs! It was very comfortable and has a nice kitchen and a washing machine and a nice, firm bed. And many songbirds will sing for you! It is only a 10-minute walk to Fisherman’s Bastion and Our Lady of Buda Castle Church from the apartment.

I was able to park on the street very close to the apartment, but could not figure out how to use the ancient parking machines that are everywhere in Budapest—you cannot just pay conveniently with your credit or debit card, and everything is written in Hungarian. I ended up with a parking ticket on Friday, but then the weekends are free. But maybe there is some app you can use with your phone—I did not have phone service and I am not at all an app user. But street parking was surprisingly not very difficult to find, which was a plus.

The owner of an apartament was super kind. He always supported us in case of some doubts or questions. :) Location was also perfect - 10 minutes on foot to the castle hill, about 35 minutes to the Parlament and about 5 minutes to the bus station. Apartament is cosy and nicely equipped - it contains everything what is needed for few days stay.

The apartament was perfectly equipped and clean. Good localization. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Parking on street was a bit expensive, but the rest of the service, apartment location and facilities absolutely compensated.

Location is extra - near cultural facilties, parks, markets. Flat is so cozy, modern and nice with touch of nature in front of it.

Cirridor/stiars from entrance in the building up to flat - dawn 2 levels, dark, without air.

It is a truly beautiful apartment! Owners made sure each single detail is taken care of. It was a treat to be their guest.
