Ήταν ένα ήσυχο διαμέρισμα, σε μια ήσυχη περιοχή όχι ιδιαίτερα μακριά από το κέντρο της πόλης.

Ήταν υπερβολικά κρύο και δεν είχαμε τρόπο να ρυθμίσουμε την θερμοκρασία, με αποτέλεσμα όλες τις ημέρες που μείναμε εκεί που έκανε και πολύ κρύο, να κρυώνουμε μέσα στο σπίτι τόσο εμείς όσο και τα δύο μας μικρά παιδιά που όταν τα βγάζαμε από το μπάνιο μελάνιαζαν από το κρύο. Το σπίτι είχε πολλές φθορές, τόσο στους τοίχους όσο και γενικότερα, ο καναπές κρεβάτι άνοιγε με το παραμικρό και διαχωριζόταν με αποτέλεσμα να είναι αδύνατο να κοιμηθούν δύο άνθρωποι εκεί. Το στρώμα, τα μαξιλάρια και τα κλινοσκεπάσματα ήταν καθαρά μεν αλλά ταλαιπωρημένα πολύ. Το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα όμως ήταν το υπερβολικό κρύο.

Bett ist zu weich, Bettwäsche könnte neuer und sauberer sein. Die Lüftung des Zimmers ist nicht ganz gut. Wegen der Kälte konnten wir es nicht lüften.

The wallpapers are falling apart, there were many cobwebs, the dust on the higher parts of walls wasn't probably cleaned in months, same goes for radiators, there was little to almost none natural light and since the apartment was positioned into courtyard in the 1st floor, there wasn't a feeling of privacy, because the curtains didn't cover enough. The bed wasn' comfortable, since you could feel the metal in the mattress. There was only cold water in the kitchen sink.
