A really outstanding apartment, in a great location but still relatively quiet. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It really made our wonderful stay in Budapest that bit more enjoyable. Some really kind touches like coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets and shower gel available. Also the communication and instructions were comprehensive and responsive.

Some slightly better quality bedding and pillows would have made it perfect.

Location Apartment is clear and basic.

The shower in the main bathroom does not work, the water does not pour from the shower fixture above your head as it should. You need to use the shower head attached to the wall, however it isn’t high enough to stand underneath, you need to hold this above your head. The water from the shower leaks through the door, leaving a large puddle. This is extremely dangerous considering the bathroom floor is tiled and therefore very slippery when wet. After a couple of showers the grey mat provided is so wet; it is of no use. I noticed this was raised by a previous guest in their review, before our visit however, when we stayed it still hadn't been fixed. The host has contacted me to say this has now been fixed, but it didn't help us during our stay. The bedding provided for both beds is far too small. These are double beds and you are given single duvet covers. If you are sharing the bed with someone, you will struggle. As the bedding doesn’t fit, the beds weren’t even made on arrival. The pillows are small and very uncomfortable. The host said this is a standard size for Hungary? So you can get double beds, but not the bedding to fit. There are polite notices about being quiet and not disturbing the neighbours, however the neighbours are noisy, they sit outside their doors smoking and on our last night, we was woken up by the noise. The host said they have no control over the neighbours, which is fair enough, but if you do decide to stay here, make sure you don't disturb them! The apartment is basic and clean; however, it cannot be described as luxury. Our stay was disappointing and there are several improvements which need to be made for future guests. Budapest isn't short of places to stay, so I would consider somewhere else. I contacted the host before writing my review in the hope that this could be resolved, they did apologies after a list of excuses for every point a made.

The apartment is beautiful and much bigger than I expected. The furnishings and decor was really nice and we loved having two bathrooms which made getting ready much easier. The location was amazing and perfect base for exploring Budapest. The apartment also felt very safe and secure which was important to us. Host was also very responsive to any questions.

Only minor - in the ensuite bedroom the pillows could have been more plump/firmer and the mattress wasn't the most comfortable for me but that could be personal preference. A recommendation would be to have a Nespresso type coffee machine. But everything was great :)

The apartment position is excellent. The apartment is clean, the kitchen is well equipped.

One of the bed comforters is itchy on skin. The bathroom showers leaks through the door.

The parking info would have been helpful. To park on the street you have to use coins ( no credit cards!) which are IMPOSSIBLE to get from the local merchants!
