St. Gellért Square - Minilux Apartman

The apartament is located in the attic of a historical building, and despite the lact of elevator, it has a unique charm to see such building's everyday life. The flat is very cosy and well equipped. It is located right next to Gellert Baths and has extra towels to take there. Two city bikes are available, so you can have a nice round around the city. The tram stop is 3 mins walking distance from the building. Guarded parking area is free with the special card left in the apartament and there are plenty of free places. The description of self check-in was clear and super easy to follow.

The apartament is in the attic, so the ceiling can be low in some parts (e.g. in the shower) - it can be a bit uncomfortable for tall people.

Good location - close to the city and public transport. Well appointed. Different. Communication with the hosts was good. Information supplied by hosts was helpful (and also in English).

Stairs - the apartment was on the 6th floor with no lift. This was a challenge with luggage. Using the shower was challenging with the raked ceiling and shower head location.

Location was next to the Gellért Hill which made the exploration of the city and park so much easier and closer to the apartment. Just with a few steps you were already in the "greener part" where mostly locals are using for relaxing and sightseeing the city of Budapest and Donava from the Liberty Statue. Host was really friendly and helpful on every step of our self check-in. On the arrival you are presented with a small notebook with host's writting about recommended points to explore near the apartment and with the locations of local places with real local food and price, not the "fake" tourists ones which really made the stay and exploration of the city special and true Hungarian experiance. Apartment was really something unique and inspo for its design on a such a small available space. It was clean, well equipped and the bed was amazing to sleep in. It could be really easily ventilated with fresh air with the air conditioning or roof windows. Parking was next to the building in a guarded space which could also be seen from the windows in the apartment. On the weekends there is also free public parking on the street next to the building.

Very charming flat in fantastic location, close to the Danube, shops and restaurants, and public transport. The flat was very clean and with all amenities as advertised. The communication with the hosts/owners very helpful and smooth. We stayed three nights and wish that we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Aparment is great, very well equipped and decorated with a lot of style. Location is also very convenient. Parking is included which is great if you are traveling with a car.

Apartman is on last floor and there is no elevator. Also shower could be issue for somebody taller. Both of this things weren't an issue for us but could be for somebody.

Location is convenient, instructions for getting in and out are clear. A very good job done in planning the interior to use every inch of space available and even though apartment is not large, it is really cozy and warm place, most of the stuff you could possibly need is there, even for a longer stay. Wished to have been able to live there for a little longer - overall experience is great.

Apartment is on the top floor, in a building without elevators, so carrying all the luggage up and down is less than ideal. Also, as the ceiling is sloped, taller people should be aware, that one has to keep in mind to watch the head when maneuvering, especially in the shower.

Amazing location, right next to the metro station and Danube river. The apartment was beautiful and very comfy. Hosts very super accommodating and very friendly.

Only (very minor) downside is no elevator, and since the apartment is on the top floor, it was a bit of an exercise to get up. This did not negatively impact our stay in any way.
