CityHeart Apartments

The location is perfect, the building is exceptional with spectacular inner yard. The apartment is spacious with high ceilings. The stuff is super friendly and helpful.

The appartement definitely needs a bit of care. There is no dishwasher and it won't be a problem, but utensils in the kitchen were so... greasy. Most of the glasses have defects. Just throw them away and buy set of the same plates and glasses, even the cheapest one. And there is a smell of very old place. I was trying to do coffee more frequently to get rid of that...it helped.

We made use of the airport shuttle, so Marianna kindly collected us from the airport and took us back again at the end of our stay. She was also very flexible because unfortunately one of our flights was cancelled at the last minute, meaning that instead of arriving at around midnight on the Wednesday, we didn't actually land until late afternoon on the Thursday. Although she had a busy day lined up, she very kindly prioritised our booking seeing as we had already suffered a lot of disruption and for that we are very grateful. We were thankful for the lift and also for the aircon as it was 30+ degrees whilst we were there.

The mattresses in the downstairs bedroom were lovely, however, our daughter reported that the mattress upstairs was quite thin. We would have appreciated having maybe one English/German TV channel rather than just Hungarian.

Is great location in Budapest. Groceries next to the apartment.. Public transport is near. 20 minutes walk fo the Dunabe.

Is no way to sleep separately. No 2nd bed. Don't trust the pictures. They are from the different apartments. No air conditioning. I suggest to the owner to add a little, but very important details. 1. Umbrella. It was rainy and not every visitor bringing umbrella with him 2. Was no Shower gel 3. Pillows are old and not enough pillows 4. Please make a light above a kitten bar-table 5. There was no detergents and no washing machine.. Old one stored in bathroom (i think) misfunctional 6. No wifi coverage in apartment 7. No coffee.

The apartment was fabulous. Really convenient location in the heart of Pest but away from the main road so no noise. The lift to the second floor was a bonus so no carrying heavy bags up stairs. Marianna met me on arrival to give me the keys & show me around the apartment & was really helpful. The apartment was clean & comfortable & had everything we needed. I will certainly consider stopping here again if I come back.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Lovely apartment, quaint, clean and comfortable, in an old building. Great location with plenty of bars/cafes and shops nearby.

Bathroom- particularly the shower area needs replacing.

Very nice apartment in a great location. The host was very helpful.

Location is perfect if you like to explore city. Even though street is busy apartment entrances is from the courtyard so your not bothered by any noise. You can tell it’s an old building with master end servants entrances beautiful stairs etc. that does add up to your trip.

Great location - central but quiet. Very helpful owners.
