Basilica Suites

The location, for me, was great. The property off a main st and was quiet. The owner was responsive to questions and issues. The owner made the most of the space- impressed by what was included. It was clean and contemporary and had a private patio!

Agree with a previous reviewer who was put off by the entry it is recessed from the street, dark and unlit at night. Felt creepy. The bldg appears to be undergoing renovation so maybe there are plans to improve that . It would be helpful, not just this property, but similar ones without reception, to have a printed card in apt with info on use of washer, tv, ac, etc..

We loved the location, the host, ease of collection and the taxi service was amazing. 10/10

the apartment itself was disappointing. The beds were really uncomfortable and it was a super tight space. It was sold as a 6 person apartment but it definitely was not. The sofa bed was hardly a bed, I would say it would be a 5 (max) person apartment, 4 would have been ideal.

Location was great.

Initially thought apartment was good, though small. However, after settling in, started to notice the 'real' apartment. Infestation of tiny ants near main entry door. Tiny to the naked eye and did not notice them until both my partner and I got bit! Me while sitting on the sofa, my partner while sitting on the bed! This issue needs addressing urgently. Kitchen equipment sparse. Needs quite a few more things. Very small apartment for the price. In fact well over-priced. Very noisy at night. Shower/w.c. room was a nightmare. Shower flooded the bathroom pretty much as soon as the water was turned on. Inadequate door seal and to be honest, a shower tray needs to be installed. (See video and photos). Expensive for what it was.
