Cozy studio apartment with Air condition

This is a compact property which is clean and functional in a good location to go exploring Budapest. Perfect base

The location is good.

Ugly house and the cleanliness of the accommodation could be better.

The apartment is in great location. And it has everything you would need for a couple of days in Budapest. We mainly used it just to sleep there but it has a kitchen with appliances and kitchen utensils, it even has a washing machine and hair dryer. The communication with Janos was great he sent all the instructions on time.

The only thing that was a little problem are the stairs to the bed, they are a little bit steep, but after a day we got used to it.

The air con didn’t reach the bedroom area. And the ladder to the loft was scary.

Good location, not too far from the main landmarks and the Danube, about 25 min walk

The building itself is quite dated and not well-maintained, but the apartment was good!

I do not understand how booking.com has let this unsafe place to be listed in the website! Staircase too dangerous, lighting of the corridor awful, paints off the walls all over the building, the lift/elevator is out-of-date (it probably dates back to the World Wars). As you get in to the lift, you hear a very load noise that seems you are about to have a free-fall and die. Basic kitchenette are missing. Not even a simple electric kettle was provided. All the dishes were dirty. Tissue not provided! When I asked the owner to bring some tissues, he was arguing that "we don't provide tissue to guests". Can you believe that? At the end, I asked the host to organise a taxi to take us to the airport (it was announced that they are happy to do that). We agreed on 35 Euros, and I asked to receive the change in Euros, not Forint, and he accepted. But when the driver, which I suppose he was the host's friend, took us to the airport, he charged us 40 Euros and gave the change in Forint. When I asked for the fair price and change in Euros, he attacked me! The whole process looked like a scam that they planned to rob our money.
