Central location, fair price, coffee machine, fridge.

It was hard to find our apartment inside the building. A neighbour helped us out. The apartment has two main doors and we had problems with both. It's a very old building, so the locks are tricky. Not ideal if you have to rush somewhere. The apartment was cold upon our arrival, and even tho we turned on the radiators, they remained cold. Later I figured out how they work, but our first night was cold. The bathroom door is deformed, so we couldn't close it. The shower makes a huge water mess that you have to clean up with a provided tool, it was uncomfortable as a guest. The welcome gifts on the photos were missing. We got three coffee capsules, and the box for the coffee was empty.

The kitchen is seriously under equipped. Not enough utensils or equipment to make a basic meal. I booked this accommodation to have a kitchen to use. There was not enough toilet paper provided for the stay either. When booking an apartment for a short stay it feels like a fair assumption that basic cleaning liquids (dish washing) and basic toiletries (toilet paper) are provided. If the host wants to run an accomodation, they should provide the service, otherwise don't bother.

So so apartment in old building. On second floor up windy stairs. Wifi good. Bed reasonable. Lots of restaurants near apartment. Handy to main attractions

Entrance instructions with code didn't work on main door. Managed to get in when other guest opened door. Tv wasn't working. I messaged owner and initially he wasn't going to do anything, but after gentle persuasion his staff showed up. Not many channels. No views from apartment. Bathroom average. Shower was in bath. Rubber seals on glass partition off bath weren't good. Water everywhere. Keys to exterior door weren't that easy to turn. Luckily apartment door was ok. Overpriced for what it was.

❌️ I arrived late at night, and i found it difficult to locate the unit itself. It was located at the back of the building, got the key from the code locker, and then entered another door, which had 3 doors again. The far back at the left is the unit. ❌️ No Airconditioning. Only electric fan that blows little to no air ❌️ Like what the other posted here, when you take a shower, it makes the WHOLE floor wet as it splashes all around the shower room (instead of just within the bath tub itself). Maybe it is supposed to be wet, unlike other bathrooms in Europe

The apartment is located in a very center of Pest, in the 19th century building with lovely authentic yard. St. Istvan cathedral, Parliament and Szecenyi bridge are in close vicinity. Automatic check-in process is really easy because of detailed instructions that a host sends you before the arrival.

Excellent communication with owner. Great location. Comfy beds and enough room for 2 of us. It was a comfortable stay and would stay again due to good location.

Unfortunately shower didn't work and bath caused flooding when releasing water. Dark in some of main areas of complex - automatic lights broken. These aspects let the property down but overall it's location is worth it and it was good value.

Everything was truly perfect with the central position being the best thing for sure.

The location.

The bed downstairs is broken. It’s missing some of the planks the support the mattress so when you sit on the bed, you fall through to the floor plunging down. I saw that this is a complaint that people have done since 2022 so it seems that they’re not interested in fixing that. Very old (historic) building with no elevator. You have to climb 2 flights of stairs with your luggage through some very old stairs and then go through two dark hallways. No toiletries. No luggage storage.
