Cozy studio in the center for 2 people

The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The location was great.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good stay. First thing was that the appartement wasn't very clean: found loads of hairs in the bed, the appartement smelled really dump, and specially the bathroom was in general not so clean (dirty floor -even found there a pice of broken glass-, black mould and dirt in the shower). The second problem was the noise: we could hear really loudly when the neighbors would come in/out at night, while sleeping. Also the extractor would start working really loudly every day at 9am, with a very annoying sound.

Overwhelming smell of drains in the morning and evening coming up from the shower. Shower wouldn't stay hot enough for two consecutive showers, messaged management and was told it's because we are having them one after the other, we ended up having extremely quick showers in order to have enough hot water for both. Wifi was down for our last day which was quite stressful as needed to plan our journey home and download our boarding passes however lots of cafes nearby share free WiFi so found a way around that.

Location was ok. Main avenue with lots of bars and very close to public transport (tram).

The place had no windows to the outside, so it was very stuffy and had no ventilation. It was not cleaned before my stay as there was lots of dust and mold. Dishes inside the cupboards were also dirty. The door handle for the mais door was broken, making it difficult to lock and open the door. The host said they noticed it shortly before my arrival, so they called someone to fix it and would send me a message to let me know what time they would arrive. I never received any message. I checked the previous reviews of the place and found one also talking about the broken handle. I think the worst part was being informed 1 day before my stay that no noise of any kind was tolerated because of the neighbors' comfort and that they had the right to kick me out if I didn't comply. That's fine since it is an apartment building, no problem. The problem, however, was that this unit was originally 1 apartment and they divided it into 2 places (probably to rent out both and make 2x the money) with very thin drywall. As a result, I could hear everything that the neighbor was doing; talking on the phone, having a shower, even coughing (probably from dust too). It was quite insulting to be threatened to be kicked out if I made noise, only to get there and be bothered by my neighbor's noise. In the end, the place was really really bad and my brother even got allergies from the dust and mold. The broken door handle presented a safety issue. The close proximity with the unit neighbor was very uncomfortable. It was like having a roomate I wasn't aware of. We stayed 1 night out of a total of 5 because of all these problems and got an emergency booking.
