Bellevue City Apartment Budapest

Excellent location, close to transport hub (including trams, metro and the airport bus). Felt very secure. Numerous shops and restaurants within a ten minute walk. Great view. Well-equipped kitchen. Lovely to have a separate bedroom rather than a studio apartment.

These are very specific observations. Despite instructions, we found it impossible to access the recycling bins. Knives could be sharper. Also, the (necessary) mattress protector was a bit too plasticky, which made for a sweaty night’s sleep.

It is a beautiful and super comfortable apartment. It is on the fifth floor with a lift. It has a balcony with a gorgeous view. There is a bathtub, separate toilet, washing machine, drying stand, microwave, oven, all kitchen utensils, cutlery and kitchen towels. All the spices, oils, teas and even my fav coffee was there. The living area is spacious with lot of books and bedroom was cozy with old world charm. Lots of extra towels and bed linens are provided in the drawers. Attila is very kind and helpful person. The location is right next to the airport shuttle bus stop. It is difficult to find the apartment building at first, so call Attila or number provided as soon as you reach the stop. Lot of Lebanese and pizza joints nearby.

Curtain over bathtub would be helpful

It may not be ideal for those who prefer a minimalist, sterile space, as it is filled with books and various personal touches. However, it has everything one might need—and much more. This was the first time I stayed in an apartment with a coffee machine and capsules provided. That was an absolute delight! (Alright, to be honest, apart from the coffee machine and Wi-Fi, I didn't really need much else, but there's also an air fryer and plenty of other thoughtful amenities—did I mention the coffee machine?!) In terms of equipment and amenities, I haven't seen anything better. It truly feels like staying at a friend's place. At the same time, I got the impression that the hosts might be passing on items left by previous guests to future ones. The kitchen is well-stocked with grains, spices, and other essentials, and the bathroom has a variety of toiletries. If this is indeed the case, I think it's a great tradition—please keep it going! I even added some black tea to the collection (since there were mainly fruit teas). The decor is a bit worn but charming. This is not a brand-new apartment, so expect a cozy, lived-in feel rather than a glamorous, pristine space. The furniture has seen some years, but that doesn’t affect comfort in any way. The location is excellent (which is clear from the map). The apartment is clean, warm, and more spacious than it appears in the photos. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

A Few Minor Suggestions for Improvement: The bathtub stopper is smaller than the drain, making it ineffective. It costs less than a euro, so I’m sure this can be easily fixed. There are no locks or latches on the bathroom and toilet doors. This seems to be a common issue (I'm not sure why), but installing simple slide locks would be a great addition. Everything else was absolutely wonderful!

Perfect location, everywhere is within walking distance. Will book again for our next trip to Budapest.

The property was clean and in the heart of Budapest. Walking to nearby attractions was convenient.

During our stay, we had no water due to an outside problem. No communication was given to this situation. Owner did bring water once notified twice. Also power went out in the apartment without cause. Again had to call property management to correct the situation.
