The apartment is not central located but thanks to a fantastic public transport, you reach every corner in Budapest. If you come by car there are some parking spots free of charge but not right in front of the building, just ask the host. Otherwise, you have to pay or you get fined. And it was quiet. The apartment is in a nice clean building with two elevators, heating and warm water is provided and the view is nice. The building is close to a quite busy road. A supermarket is close by (5 mins walk). The metro station that brings you directly to the city center is 10 mins walking distance. away. But there are also plenty of bus stations close to the apartment. The neighborhood is clean and secure.

One of the worst accommodation I have ever had. Let’s start with the facts: If you charge 29 EUR cleaning fee, apart from the fact that cleaning should be included in the renting price, I expect to get a clean apartment which was not the case at all. You don’t want to know what I found behind the sofa and not only there. To sum it up It’s a filthy apartment. In addition, the best joke was I asked the host if it is possible to check in earlier and he replied unfortunately it’s not possible, as the apartment has to be cleaned up. I don’t know which apartment was cleaned but for sure not that one we stayed in. By the way I have the feeling we got the bedsheets from the previous guests without being washed (judging by the smell and by the hair I found on it). We got the instructions to enter the apartment couple of hours before checking in, why so late. Inside the apartment, it smells of cigarette smoke. The postings on the walls are only in Hungarian, no EN translation. The only posting in EN is the one telling you that you have to leave at 11. The sofa in the living room is so hard that you feel like sleeping on a bench. The pillows are of the lowest quality. The kitchen: almost everything is broken – the table, the doors of the cupboards, the tap or the chairs. Cups and bowls were missing. The kitchen table was so small only for one person but we were four persons and there was enough space for a bigger table. The roll curtain in the bedroom is also broken. In the bathroom, in the shower imagine there was no support for the sprinkler so you had to put it on the bottom, and it's just the sprinkler, no additional tap. If you book this apartment you will see what I mean.

Everything was perfect and especially considering the low price, we were more than satisfied! The apartment has two separate rooms with their own bed/place to sleep at, storage, TV etc., which is great if you and your roommate want to have some privacy. The place is very well equiped, I actually got mad after our arrival seeing I could've saved so much space in my luggage lol... You'll find here whatever you might need (even if you stay for a longer period), such as toiletries, condiments, iron, hair dryer, detergents, cleaning/kitchen stuff etc. etc. Free parking lot is located just behind the house and the place is located by the M3 highway so it's also a great location to get anywhere in Budapest quickly. I'm kinda biased on this one because Zugló is my favorite district in Bp, but I gotta say the location is also just perfect! Not too tourist-y, not too quiet, not too wild, a great place to stay at if you wanna see what the real pesti people live like.

Like I said, the place provides so many things you might need during your stay, really the only thing we were missing were plastic bags for the trash bin, so make sure to bring a couple of your own if you don't wanna buy a whole roll. As I'm quite light-sensitive, I had an issue with the glass doors during our first nights (even if you draw the blinds in the bedroom, some light from the living room will get there, which might wake you up around sunrise time) but that was easily fixable by placing a cover on the glass part of the door. Not a huge problem by any means, but keep that in mind on your first night if you have a light sensitivity issue & wanna get quality sleep :)

Room to relax and work. Excellent Wi-Fi, was exceptional for conference calls. very clean, lots of necessities provided.

Furniture was hard. the hallway light on that floor doesn’t work so would be scary getting to your room if you weren’t a large man.
