Close to the center and public transportation. Wifi was great.

We asked for baby crib and got the confirmation that the crib will be available. What we got is baby crib without floor base board or mattress which were replaced with two sofa pillows covered with sheet????. I don’t know how baby or anyone would be able to sleep there. Instead baby slept with us on bed. Fridge is rather noisy.

The location is perfect, it takes you 20 mins by walk from the city centre or less than 10 mins by underground, and the street is quiet, near the Danube river and Freedom bridge/Gellert Hill, the market, and many restaurants and cafés. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a stove (with an oven - which we didn't test out), a microwave, all in good condition. We didn't use the water kettle and coffee machine, but they were at our disposal, along with complimentary espresso coffee capsules. Also, there is a washing machine in the bathroom (we stayed just several days so didn't use it, but it's always a plus for me). The place is spacious and well heated (underfloor heating, which is great). The bed was comfy, although creaky, but it didn't bother us much. A security guard is at the reception, monitoring the CCTV cameras, which gives a feeling of greater security.

The bathroom: the shower head needs changing, water leaks from the hose in several spots so it doesn't have good pressure. The shower curtain is a bit old/not so clean, and it's too short, so we had to be careful not to splatter water outside of the cabin. Several hooks on walls could be useful because there was nowhere to hang clothes and towels. The bed linen was a bit old, too. The fridge produced a lot of noise, and there were some other weird noises from time to time through the wall/roof (because it's a loft) like water running through pipes, from other apartments, but some were probably caused by temperature change or ventilation - it remained a mystery to us.
