Somogyi Apartman

the apartment is very cozy and the neighbourhood is very typical - the host is very welcoming

The location is great. Easy access to the nightlife on both Krudy Ut. and District VIII, great access to public transit, but the street itself was very quiet. The apartment is well maintained and well supplied.

The apartment is essentially a studio with the bed lofted over the living area. There is plenty of headroom in the loft. But the alternating-steps stairs up and down can be a bit harrowing during middle-of-the-night toilet trips, and generally if your eyesight is compromised. There is also only one key and it is required to lock the door from the inside. So it can be difficult for one person to leave if the other is still sleeping but doesn’t want to be locked in. The apartment was also quite warm for us. The A/C wasn’t available when we were there in late September and though we could open the windows during the day, we did not want to leave them open at night or while we were out since they are at floor level.

It's a great apartment. Close to all our favourite places in Budapest. Thanks Nori for hospitality!

We really liked how warm and clean the apartment was. The design is so cute and makes you feel like home. The location is great as it is close to many attractions and it helps you explore Budapest. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Budapest.

Nóri is the nicest person ever! She explained us how to get to apartment, told us about nearest places to eat, to buy products and something we needed to know about Budapest. The apartment was clean and tidy, it looks the same as in the photos. Inside you can find everything you need to live with. The place is close to everything: 5-10 min and you are there. We loved our stay at Somogyi Apartment! We definitely recommend this place in Budapest❤️

The apartment was nice and clean, as shown on the pictures. The communication was good and she arranged an airport transfer for us. Check in was easy as she met us when we arrived. And was present when we checked out.

We were only there for one night so we didn't have enough time to properly see what's around. The bed and pillows were a little hard for us but that is minor.
