Lovely downtown home in Budapest

Very nice apartment, great location! Enjoyed our stay in this lovely old building. Everything you need for a stay in Budapest. Plenty of Parking available on the streets, though expensive at around 1,80€ per hour from 8am - 10pm, weekend free.

Even though there is an AC, it was too hot in the upper floor, a strong fan is needed to circulate the air. Lastly, and this is what the title says, the communication with the landlords was very bad prior to our arriving. When we were arriving, no one was there, even though we texted the owner several times, couple of days before we arrived and also several times before we arrived that day. The experience to arrive and no one showing up, just having a phone number that no one was answering, was the worst check in experience I had in my life. After several calls the check in instructions were send to us. Beside that, everything was great.

We missed WiFi connection.

Entrace door shall be more safe, for example from the outside will be better a ball handle.

The central location was great, within walking distance of Nyugati station. We appreciated the option of checking in later in the evening.

A few small things that spoiled the overall impression. The creaking of the bed with every movement, the cracked bulb on the bedside table, the poorly flushing toilet and the rather cold shower when showering were disturbing. Price performance but great if you only plan to stay at the apartment for the night.

Very cute little apartment in a perfect location. Easy to follow check in instructions. Comfy bed and pillows. Super quiet, the window faces the inner yard. And everything you need is there - hairdryer, teapot and some tea, etc.

The whole experience

Wonderful location with many great restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The flat is very quiet and relaxing with no street noise and a lovely courtyard. Kitchen has everything you need for a short stay.

A few things could be easily fixed to make this place perfect - the fridge could be fitted properly so it doesn't move when you open it, and the bed squeaks a lot whenever you move.
