Barclona Guesthouses Lovina

Zeer gastvrij en zorgzaam personeel, heel betrokken en beschikbaar voor alle vragen en hulp. Er werd een extra klamboe voor ons opgehangen. Fijne rustige tuin, heerlijk om op de veranda van het huisje te zitten. We verbleven hier 3 weken en hebben het heerlijk gehad.

Keukentje heeft weinig keukengerei, heel basic ingericht.

Great spot. Very nice family, beautiful gardens, good restaurant too.

I extended my stay for many days. What a lovely place. I loved the host family. They are the nicest people ever. You get a full apartment with a kitchen and garden!

I loved my Barclona jungle hut. While not "beachfront", the guesthouse is behind a wonderful restaurant on a quiet street with many other warungs (restaurants) nearby and an easy walk to the beach or to the busy main road. My room was comfortable with good A/C, a big comfortable bed, and even included an attached outdoor kitchen and dining area. It's run by the nicest family you'll ever meet, and they even found a perfect table and chair for me to use as a desk. Also the drinking water is almost free, at 15k per 5 gallon bottle, and they provide a convenient and inexpensive laundry service. I stayed for 4 weeks and can't imagine a better place to stay in Lovina.

Along with the jungle atmosphere comes many ants in the outdoor kitchen and dining area.

It was such a wonderful stay - we were delayed because of the traffic, but the host was waiting for us . Even gave us hot food in our rooms upon request. The hosts were so kind, generous. I left my backpack along with my important travel documents back and left to the airport - the host was kind enough to make sure the bag reached me - staying up late in the night. Wonderful place and even more wonderful people.

Spacious little bungalow with 2 bedrooms. Everything was very clean, the bungalow is well maintained. It’s built at the back of the family’s restaurant, which is a nice convenient option. Very central location, on a quiet street a short walk from beach, lots of warungs and close to main road for more warungs, cafes and mini marts. We stayed 5 nights and we were comfortable and happy here - good wifi, hot water and air con. The friendly and helpful hosts really cared that we had a good stay. I thought it would be a problem having no pool, but although it was hot, the beach was close enough that it was ok.

As a friend wanted to stay with me for NYE I booked an appartement with two bedrooms. Upon arrival I was told that there is a problem with that appartement. Instead I got a room with one bed in the next guesthouse. As compensation they offered free breakfast (50.000). I checked on booking.com. Price/night appartement 500.000, room 300.000. After some discussions I got at least 150.000 per night compensation and my friend had to find another guesthouse. I never found out if there was a problem with the appartement.
