the house was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. it was in good location right in the high street but house was set back in a court yard so you don't hear the traffic

you can't park in front property but there is a carpark near by 2 mins walk

The holiday home was central to the town facilities, shops,Berkeley Castle, Jenner Museum and footpaths. No car was required for local sites. Cattle Park Farm was only a 2 min drive so this makes a good day out with young children. Take a picnic as there are lots of picnic tables around. We spent the whole day here weather was good. Further afield is Slimbridge another good day out. The home is set back from the road and gated so safe if children staying. The owner lives opposite and says to knock if you need anything.

There were no games or books for young children but I suspect it’s mostly adults that stay. There could have been baking trays or oven proof dishes. I missed the use of a spatula to scrape around the saucepans and jars/tins. However as the owner opposite I could have asked.

Strange latches on door don't allow to lock rooms for privacy

Really comfortable, clean and lovely property. It is quite pricey but there is little on offer in the area so I can understand the cost. I would stay again.
