Bermagui Beach Apartment

Very friendly greeting from Mark and great communication at all times. The apartment was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. No air conditioner but the breeze in the evening was great. Close to Woolworths, restaurants and the beach. Location was central to everything. Lock up garage and washer and dryer were a bonus.

Not a deal breaker but perhaps a fan in the main living area would be great on the humid windless days.

Location, facilities and views are excellent. Host was very helpfully responsive to contacts. The room sizes were very good. Given the lack of air conditioning (see below), the orientation of the unit enabled windows to be opened to catch any breeze. Very close to Woolworths supermarket which made self catering simple. Significantly cheaper petrol available at the Bermagui Bait shop, including 95 octane.

None of these points below warrant taking a point off our score. It is surprising that there is no reverse cycle air conditioner. Ceiling fans are not quite there on a warm, still humid night. Also, there are a number of plug in electric heaters for use in winter (not used by us in February!) and a reverse cycle a/c would give the same heat output for 1/3 of the electricity use. Frypans were not clean on arrival, and some elbow grease was needed with a scourer before I got two of them clean enough to cook on. The third was left for a future guest to deal with. Note that this was the only cleanliness issue we had. The table and chairs on the shared patio have no sun or rain protection and thus are not really functional (and were not used by us).

A fantastic property in the heart of Bermagui easy walking distance to everything you could need. Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Complimentary bread and cheese was a very thoughtful inclusion and much appreciated

Well furnished place. Great location to walk everywhere. The bread and cheese was a lovely touch. Super clean. Great vibe and great view. Would happily come back.

A contact incase of anything unforeseen would have been helpful. Some shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and tissues would have been helpful.

Close proximity to the beach and Main Street. Well maintained and very clean. The owner meeting us at property to show us around and help carry bags from car inside. Local sourdough and cheese on arrival was a lovely touch.

Great layout for the family. Easy location to the beach and shops.

This is definitely not a dislike but more of an inconvenience of not having basic items in the kitchen. When you pay what we did for 4 nights, I would hope that there would be more than 2 dishwasher tablets, extra compostable bags, foil or containers to store spare food.

Great location, beautiful view, easy walk to shops, pub and Horseshoe Bay beach. Lovely vibe about the apartment
