Apartman Lara

Location. Host. My flight was delayed for 12 hours and I missed check-in time but host's mother was waiting me. She is so sweet and nice lady.

The apartment needs a renovation. And it needs it not because it's oldfashioned, no. It needs a renovation because it looks very dirty. I mean it's not dirty (like an absence of cleaning). I'm pretty sure it was cleaned at the morning. But It's relatively clean, as much as an old place could be. The problem is black dirty walls, ceiling, doors. I mean no one can clean it, it's dirty not because it's not cleaned but because it's old. The apartment needs new bed, sockets, bath The aprtment is noisy. I don't think the host can fix it. The noise come from the roof. I guess there are pigeons who fight with … I don't know ... with mice or another birds, but they didn't let me sleep from the dawn. And of course I heard a neighbour who speaks at the phone till 1 a.m. Well if you used to sleep in a quite place it's not a good choice for you. As I said there is nothing to do for host, it's not his fault of course, but it's a matter of fact.

Great location. A lot of grocery stores and bakeries around. As well as other stores and a mall.

There was a lot of noise coming from the upstairs area. You could hear it all night.

Excellent location, it was possible to contact the owner and the mother who came to clean the place was a welcoming person.

Overall not really comfortable. The bed is an old, squiky, unstable sofa, it needs urgently to be changed and get a real mattress! At night you can hear all the noises from the neighbour on the side. The duvet was small, I added an extra blanket to cover my feet. I think the owner should make it clear that it's a 4th floor in a tall building, tourists have often heavy baggage. Also, the TV is far away from being a flat- screen and anyway it does not work. Other guests wrote about that in January and 12 mo. later it is still not repaired. There were left 02 tea bags and no coffee. The unit has potential, but it has to be maintained, cleaned and refurbished.
