Good location and clean

There is not enough toilet roll, so I have to buy our own. Only two towels were given for a 4 night stay. Check out was very early 10am

The location is excellent — right in the city center. The apartment is in a courtyard, on the ground floor, with direct access from the yard. Just keep in mind that the windows open directly to the courtyard, in case that matters to you. Communication with the host was great — always kind and fairly quick to respond. The place was clean. I read in one of the previous reviews that the apartment feels dark and not cozy in the evening — I can’t agree with that, it felt quite bright and comfortable to me. There’s plenty of kitchenware, a fridge, and even a dishwasher with detergent tablets provided.

Just a few small things, which I’m sure can be easily improved. When I arrived, two out of three bulbs in the hallway/entrance area weren’t working — they were fixed the next day after I messaged the host. The only issue is that the new bulbs now glow dimly even when switched off. :) It would be great to replace them in the future with fully turning-off warm light bulbs. I also noticed a few stray hairs in different parts of the apartment — I assume they were from the cleaner. A bit more attention to detail during cleaning would make a big difference. There were also some non-critical stains on the bed linen — they didn’t seem dirty, more like old or permanent marks. And lastly, there’s a Nespresso machine, but no capsules provided. Most people probably don’t travel with their own, so it would be a nice touch to have a few. :)

Great location, very easy to get to many of the main sites in Budapest, either walking or using public transport. The place was clean, comfortable and quiet. Communication with the host was all via booking.com messages.
