Stupendous Apartment

A spacious apartment, right at the city centre. The host is very welcoming and helpful before and throughout our stay

The host was kind enough to remind us of the construction right in front of the apartment. However, she also mentioned it wouldn't be very loud and there wouldn't be any construction in the weekend. Unfortunately we were met with large machinery noise and loud banging 6 days a week from 7am onwards. While I think it is a great apartment with a very kind host, you'll need earplugs to comfortably stay there at the moment.

The location of the apartment is great - everything that you want to see is not far away - we go by foot to the most of the attractions. The host is kind and provide us information for self check in and out. The apartment has everything that you will need for your stay. It was very good that we have roller blind, because in the morning there is so much light that comes in. And it isolates from the noise that arises from the construction in front of the apartment.

The only thing we were surprised by was that the apartment did not have the view shown in the pictures. The apartment door faces the current construction, not the building's garden. If you want this view and drink your coffee on the "terrace", you have to go to the other side where the stairs are.

There was some major earthwork being carried out right in front of my door step, whole building was supported by re-inforced wooden pillars. Very scary and dangerous whenever I walked in and out. Besides, the whole building is not well maintained and old.

I am sure the location is perfect because it is not the first time I am in Budapest. My specific interest is graffiti culture. An early morning noise helped me. This was the way I could prolong my day.

Very nice, comfortable and quiet. Interesting authentic Eastern-European style interiors I enjoyed a lot. The host kindly provided the iron and ironing board as I asked. Also the host gave me very clear instructions & guidance how to get to the apartment, self check-in/out was smooth.

Tap water had a very strong smell of chlorine. No elevator in the building, unfortunately, a 20 kg suitcase is a killer :P
