Sonnenberg-Villa Brunner Apartments

Spacy appartment, decorated enough to feel homely and welcoming. Air conditioning was obviously a life saver in this heat wave. The owner is very pleasant, handsome, met up with is perfectly on time. The fact there were shower kits provided was nice even though we didn't use them, same for the macaroni (we did use those). Would be good to have a few smaller knives and a hair dryer. The beds were soft. And obviously, the garden on the inside of the villa was simply stunning. Walking distance to the oldest metroline, beautiful neighbourhood. Thank you very much for a great stay in Budapest

Clean on arrival, air conditioning in the bedroom, location was excellent, 10 minute walk to the centre, 5 minute walk to Hero square and the zoo. Perfect for a family or group.

For the cost I didn’t feel there was anything wrong with the property. It had everything you would need.

The location suited us very well. Quiet with no traffic noise at night. Easy walk to Heroes Square, some of the museums and the City Park. Only about 5 minutes from the metro station. The apartment is an interesting art nouveau building. It felt very secure. A little bit quirky but in a nice way. In a leafy street with other interesting buildings nearby such as various embassies. We liked the high ceilings in the apartment. When it was hot outside, it was cool in the apartment. The double bedroom is very spacious with good double glazing. Kitchen area quite small but had what we needed for a 4-night stay. The bathroom is very dated but everything works and there was enough shelf space. The whole apartment seemed spotlessly clean. The host was friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again.

There aren't many shops, bars etc. in the very immediate vicinity but was not really a problem. Mattress very soft on the single beds. A more powerful hair dryer would have been nice.

It's very quite and easy to reach with the public transport. The owner is very friendly and very helpful, I am very satisfied with everything.

It was a very good stay overall. The hosts are very nice and friendly, we had 0 issues during our stay. The apartment is comfortable and pretty spacious, and the location is great (very quiet street but central location). The apartment had all the facilities we needed and even more (like a toaster and a washing machine), full set of cooking utensils, some tea and coffee, toiletries, towels, fresh bedsheets, etc. The apartment had a fresh clean before we arrived, so everything was nice and clean.

Honestly, I would have to really nitpick to find something to complain about. One thing, since this is an old building, the apartment was a bit humid, but nothing critical.

The flat is in a very nice old building in a quiet historical area, close to the metro station. The hosts are very friendly and provided all the requested information. The flat was clean.

The mattress in the smaller room is extremely uncomfortable because it's very soft. Also, this room is cold even when it's 20 degrees outside. There are very little restaurants in the neighborhood. I would recommend to invest in renovating the bathroom and buying new stuff like microwave, kettle, glasses, etc
